A day in the life of a park warden at one of the world's most breath-taking national parks

Fri.12.Aug.2011 BST

Many of us travel the world looking for opportunities to spot and photograph the incredible wildlife of some of the world’s most beautiful natural environments.

But imagine spending your whole life surrounded by these amazing animals in their natural habitat and dedicating your life to ensuring they and the majestic Park they live in are there both now and in the future for people to enjoy.

In the following video we take a look at Jasper National Park, Canada’s largest mountain park and speak to Wes Bradford, who recently retired from over 30 years working for Parks Canada. He tells us all life in the Park and what it’s like when your office is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

With 69 species, including grizzly and black bear, grey wolf, elk, moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goats it certainly is a rocky mountain experience not to miss!
