‘Toast’ artist Nathan Wyburn covers Towcester shop front with celebrity portraits painted on toast

Local celebs Alan Carr and Rowan Atkinson have been immortalised in a very unusual fashion when artist Nathan Wyburn took to Towcester to create a masterpiece using his favourite medium....toast.

Covering the entire front of a newly opened Costa Store with over 700 slices of toast. Nathan ‘painted’ individual slices to create collages of Carr and Atkinson as well as three other celebrities which the public voted as the individuals they would most like to have breakfast with.

Stephen Fry topped the poll, followed by nation’s sweetheart Cheryl Tweedy and footballing legend David Beckham.

The innovative toast painting took place to celebrate the nation’s favourite breakfast food as Costa launches its new breakfast range.
